At Gateway Fellowship, we believe children are gifts from the Lord, and we take seriously our calling to raise them up (Prov. 22:6) in the knowledge of the Lord. To be intentional at that task we strive to accomplish three specific goals in children's ministry:
  1. To lay foundations for a child to accept Jesus Christ as Savior at that time in his life when God's Spirit leads him to do so.
  2. To guide children to grow and develop in Christ-likeness (moral and spiritual values).
  3. To prepare children for a life of service.
Children are a priority at Gateway, and we view our responsibilities to nurture the next generation as biblical.
